Hi Kelly,

This procedure has been suggested to me several times here in Australia for adneomyosis. I have it too and its unbearable at times.

I chose not to have it done as the doctor could not say that it would definitely stop my pain. And long term effects were uncertain.

I recently went on Synarel, and although i have had an awful time with the side effects of the drug and had to come off it after only 21/2 months, i must say it has helped my pain overall. My uterus is virtually pain free at present. Even after sex very little pain..no where near like before.

you just have to assess if you can put up with the side effects of the drugs. i couldn't and have chosen to not take them anymore.

i must say tho, the drug has given my body a rest from the constant pain and bleeding which have caused extreme iorn deficencies.

Good luck with your decision.

Take care
