i know you mean well char and what works for you is great. i sincerley hope your hysto WILL be your relief.

But trust me, your research is incorrect. It is not your cure. The % of recurrance of endo after hysto is really very high.

The problems associated with it of course HRT and numerous other factors!!

ENDO is incurable!! It is all in the way you yourself as an individual manage your problems and pain.

I DON'T trust ANYTHING my doctor says. They really don't know. They are fudging their way thru endo. We are all guinea pigs...

The only people who can help with endo is the sufferers themselves.."US"!

We suffer, we try the drugs, we suffer the side effects, we have the surgery, we suffer depression, confusion and possibly not having children. We suffer the effects it will all have on our relationships.

HYSTO is NOT the best option. Plus Char, you are only in the 6 months phase, see how you are over the next 5 years. i hope for you i am wrong, we all deserve some relief from endo. i just hope in looking for that relief you haven't been cheated.

For you this decision is right, for others...never recommend....the options are there for us all BUT........

For anyone making this decision, consider all aspects carefully before choosing such a radical procedure. There is no going back after a hysto and there are no guarantees it will be effective. You also have a million other problems that you will have to face. Know about them BEFORE making this decision. This is VITAL!!

Take care guys...choose carefully, after all it your life you are talking about.
