recurrent endo and pain, had LUNA procedure 2 months ago.............HELP........

Hello all,

I recently had a LUNA procedure done 2 months ago (laparoscopic uterosacral nerve ablation) due to endo on the ligament and the ligament was significantly shshorter than the other ligament.

At first I felt better other than surgical pain. Now all pain has returned. Leg and groin pain, lower left abdominal pain, lower left back pain. I see my OB/GYN again in July for a follow up after surgery. He mentioned going back on Lupron. I don't think I want to do that again. Did it last year for 6 months. It did not work and the endo was found in different places this time.

I really do not know what to do now. Any activity reproduces the pain even when I am not on my period. My periods are heavy with significant clots. I was found to be anemic and am on iron for a period of time.

I feel like I am crazy because I have had two surgeries in the last year and I was so hopeful after this last one. There are not many options or at least good options when it comes to treating this disease. I have been bounced from dr. to dr. at first because the leg pain was throwing them off. But I read more and more leg pain is a significant gyn symptom.

Anyone with insight on this please respond. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.

Karen
