I had a lap done on March 27 - my stomach had been bloated before the lap but now it seems even more bloated and never seems to go down! Actually I feel like I've gained about 10 lbs and actually have since around March, it seems all at once. It's getting to the point that my lower abdomen is so bloated that I can no longer button my jean...I am so frustrated! Believe me, I am glad that I no longer have the pain, but I feel awful being as bloated as I am and not being able to get rid of it....I can't remember the last time my stomach was flat. And it has nothing to do with my period, as the bloated is constant and the bloating is mainly concentrated below my belly button, it pooches out. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd love some help! Is it possible to get rid of this?? My GYN seems to think it has something to do with my bowels (as I had a large 6.6 cm cyst removed from my left ovary that was sitting on my colon - I was having all kinds of bowel problems). I still have problems now and then but nothing like before. I haven't been taking Metamucil or anything like that - would that help the bloating? Thanks for any assistance.
