Smriley, I don't know if you have to wait until after your period or not, but they do have a medicine out now that's in pill form, and it's only one pill and it's supposed to work as well as the 7 day cream. I can't remember the name of it. You might want to ask your doctor about it ASAP. I know I took it and it seemed to have knocked it out. Hope this helps.
