Lauren, I'm not sure what level your pain is on a daily basis, but for me Oxycontin works real well. I take that every 12 hours, which sometimes a Lortab in between. I know you were saying that you tried Ultram and was allergic to it, correct? I never had any luck with that either. It didn't touch my pain. Also, if your pain doctor trys to give you Vioxx, I would kindly decline as well. I know all of us are different and Vioxx may help you, but I don't think that's a good one to try. I know another one that is not as strong as Oxycontin and Lortab, is Darvocet. Sometimes I try to take those is between as well. I've also been taking Ambien to help me sleep at nightime and that especially helps because I don't have to take pain medicine then before I go to bed because it just conks me out. Hope that helps. Good luck to you. Wendi Wfarbs@cs.com
