A Restless NightFrom: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu May 31 06:50:43 2001
Morning, What a restless night for me. I tossed & turned throughout the evening due to my stomach & lower back killing me. Therefore I've been awake since 3:30am. I hate to awake my husband since he works FT. However, he did get up just to see if I was okay. For me taking pills I hate, due to the fact that I'm on sooooo many meds as it is for my Bipolar disorder. When I just can't tolerate the pain any longer then I do take a pain pill. It's somwhat scary because they're very addictive. The doctors are aware of this, but they really don't warn the patients too much about it. I have a friend who was taking soooo many pain pills and she had to be hospitalized, and go through detox, and it's NOT a fun thing. I'm all for taking meds when necessary, but it does become frustrating for me because I take meds on a daily/nightly basis... Also having depression, anxiety it's tough, but I manage. What gives me "strength" is this having this group to post too, and also having my husband. Although, men can sometimes be a pain in the rear, with their lack of knowledge & understanding of what US women go through. To all the women, just hang in there, it's a battle daily having to cope with housework, jobs, family, but remember God is here for US too... Have A Beautiful Day Everyone! P.S.
