Hi, I'm new here and desperate for some answers. Friday my gynocologist said she thought I have endometriosis, and gave me two choices. I can either start with the laparoscopy, and be assured that it is indeed endo, and possibly have some of it scraped and cautherized. Or, I can start taking the Depo-Lupron shot and be foreced into false menopause. I have heard more negative than positive opinions about the shot, and it makes me nervous. I am in a new, wonderful relationship with a great guy, and although he supports me if that is what I have to do, I am worried it will affect our sex life. But putting that aside, does anyone have any opinions/suggestions on what I should do? I know this is a decision that I alone have to make, but I sure could use some advice. Thank you so much in advance. PS.....I've never had surgery, and it all scares me to death. Has anyone had any bad experiences with the Lap?
