A few questions for MarciaFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue May 15 02:51:30 2001
Hi Marcia, I am not sure if I asked you this before but would you tell me where in the stomach area they put the shot for the Zoladex? How far below the navel did they do it? And from start to finish how long did the whole thing take? I really need to see the way this is administered. I'm seeing my dr on Wed and I was hoping to see something before then so that way I could know whether or not to tell her that I'm absolutely scared of this medicine going in to my stomach area. It makes me cringe very much. I guess if I would have never seen my mother give those insulin shots to herself that would be a lot different for me now. The thing that I especially remember about the nitemare about this was that each time I came home from the dr's office I cried. I did send a note to the manufacturer to get more information and hope that it comes before that first shot is supposed to be administered. Also, I can't find the one site that I saw that talked the prescribing info for Zoladex where it said what I had said about someone supervised by the dr but when I checked WebMD (had to go another route) under Zoladex it said that the shot had to be given either "by the dr or someone supervised by them". I will see where else I found that and give the link to you. Was your implants the 3.6 or the 10.8 (I hope I got that right)? ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Yahoo! Auctions - buy the things you want at great prices
