ALL MY ANGELS

Hi ALL, Thought I'd check in and see how everybody is.I am feeling much better. The pain from surgery is all gone (unfortunatley the endo pain is still with me ) And the lifestyle changes I am making seem to be helping.I am really trying hard to eat well, whole fresh foods, mimimal dairy, except for cheese, I have at least one slice a day, and a little milk in my tea, NO other dairy.Minimal caffiene (that's helped my headaches too. ) Fish, chicken, and a little beef. (maybe twice a week I'll have some ground beef or a small steak, I eat no other red meat except for a little bacon as flavourings in soups etc.) Pulses such as lentils and peas are great too.I try and have no processed food, and try to keep additives such as MSG to a minimum.I have also cut out all soya products.( I read somewhere that they push up estrogen levels! ) I never realised how good GOOD food can be. I love to cook, so I am having a great time with these foods. But, to cut a long story short, it seems to be helping. The pain from the endo doesn't seem less, but, I am more able to cope with it as I feel so much better and stronger and healthier in general.I am only taking painmeds 1-3 times a day now, and mainly only myprodol, I save the tramal(ultram) for when thins get really bad. So all in all, I would say the Health experiment is working.( I have also been less depressed since I have been eating better and taking my supplements.) Maybe it's because I feel I am doing something possitive to help myself. Love to all LAUREN
