Re: DEAR LaurenFrom: B. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Apr 30 23:42:58 2001
Dear Lauren, I am so glad you got your copy finally after your postal strike. You are very sweet to say such kind things. I am so glad that the actual documentary was informative and that you really liked it so much. That always is nice to hear positive reviews of the documentary, which I made as a gift for all of you and I am so glad to hear it is doing its job and helping endo sufferers world wide. I Hope you are feeling better than you were. I sent you a post but it must have got lost when the server was having problems earlier. I know I have half the posts that are on the forum and there are many that are missing and I have put that down to a server being down. Well Lauren I hope your pain is less and you are recovering well and you are grtting stronger with each passing day. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are resting and drinking lots of water to flush everything out of your system. Pain Free Wishes and Feel better soon hon. With Caring Gentle Hugz and positive vibes accross the sea, Belle
>----- Original Message ----- Dear Belle, Watched your video last night. I ordered it ages ago, and we have had a postal strike here too.So I was very pleased to see it on Thursday in yhe post, only had time to watch it yesterday though. Lovely to see what you look like, funny, I'd always pictured you with dark hair hehe. Anyway, it is great stuff. I learned alot, especially interesting to find out that in 50% of women who have had a previous surgery, the doc needs to look UNDER old scar tissue for new endo lesions. This might explain why I am having continued and worse pain since lap 12 days ago, Doc said all he could see besides two cysts was old endo removal scars. Another doc who doesn't know all he should about endo.Mentioned this ti him on the phone today, said he'd never heard of anything like that before. At least I know I am not loosing my mind, although sometimes I wonder if I am not crazy, and it's all in my head, the docs seem to think so. This one wants me to see a shrink. Can't he understand that it's the pain that makes me upset, not the upset that causes the pain. ENOUGH MOANING, thanks for a marvelous and very informative documentary, it's good to koow that there are women like YOU on our side. ALL MY LOVE Lauren PS Sorry to hear about the mri taking so long, I of all people can understand your panic.I hope it shows what is causing your pain. I'll be praying for you until you get an answer.I mentioned the mti to my doc (GP) says he has never heard about using it to diagnose endo/adeno, but he would like to know more.( I am not going back to this gyn, he is nice and all, but didn't sort out the problem, actually made it worse, so I am staying with my GP who tries very hard to help no matter how many times I bother him. He is also researching endo to see if he can help me, or find a specialist that we can both trust.)
