Hi angels

Some of you were curious about the drugs the new dr is trying. He told me that SURGAM is one of the NSAID anti-inflammatory things.

The DIMETRIOSE that you're all confused about is one of those period-inhibiting hormonal things. It's progesterone-based, and is meant to stop my periods completely. It acts somewhat like Provera but is a bit gentler, and he seems to think it might behave better with me. His theory is that no period might equal no pain, a theory that I'm willing to try! I have a feeling it has a different brand name in America (but then again, his handwriting is appalling so I might not have got the name quite right - I'll find out when I get the little box this afternoon!).

Blessings & pfw to you all Robyn P

PS Marcia, thanks for the link. I'll check it out on my next coffee-free break! Hope you're doing well. RP
