Re: endometriosis and depressionFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon Apr 30 19:00:40 2001
I can totally relate to the depression factor. I suffer from major depression and I'm currently taking Zoloft, Ativan, Topamax, and Trazadone for insomnia. I had a tubal 20 yrs ago and always had very irregular cycles. Now I'm expereincing severe abdominal pain, bleeding on & off, with lower back pain. Also my stomach is constantly getting bigger & I have an appt to see an ob-gyn specialist in 2 weeks. Which thats the only time I can get in. I 'm truly very scared & also don't want to get "depressed". I was just hospitalized 1 month ago due to major depression. I see my Psych in 3 days & I shall further discuss with him. Some psych meds do tend to interfere with birth-control meds, but to which extent I'm not sure. I hope that you can further get some answers soon. I understand how you feel. It's not fun being "depressed", and feeling alone... Take Care & I shall be praying for you.. Michelle K.
