Hi angels Just thought I'd update you. You know that I had a 2nd opinion last night. Well, HE WAS GREAT! I felt listened to, cared for, and taken seriously. He did the "cold instrument" (!) check for cervical cancer and said I was clear (he also did a smear just to make sure). At present, his advice is not to lap at this point. He wants to try something else first, which is where I need your knowledge! He has put me on Dimetriose for a 2 month trial (before I see him again) to stop my periods and therefore control the pain. He's also given me Surgam (sp?) for pain control. I don't know anything about this one, but know a little about Dimetriose. If that lot is unsuccessful, we will lap again. What do you angels know about these meds? I asked him quite bluntly about them & their side effects, and am willing to try to see if it helps. Love & pfw to you all Robyn P
