Surgery over....karen

Hi all,

Just had surgery on Thursday. No adhesions found. Very little endo, which he excised. The thing that they found is very interesting. My one ligament holding my uterus was substantially shorter and fatter than the other. The other ligament was long and thin as it is supposed to be. Dr. says that is why I had pain with every movement and period because my uterus and ovary were not able to float as they usually do. So he cut the ligament.

Has anyone heard of this before. Any research, (which hasn't been much because I am zoned from pain meds!) has turned up a procedure called LUNA? Does this sound correct? All the info I have gotten so far has been second hand from my husband and family. Don't see the dr. again until the 11th.

Anyway, don't feel too bad. The fullness I used to have in the left side is pretty much gone. I used to have substantial leg and groin pain also. Just some pinching now. Maybe nerves? Well I guess I will see how I do when I do any activity. I am very hopeful.

Any info would be helpful.

Take care all.... Karen
