Sandy, A sitz marker test is a gastro doctor prescribed test where they take an x-ray of my abdomen and then I swallow a capsule filled with little round markers actually 24 of them. In 5 days I go back and they take another X-ray of my abddomin and it will show if any of the markers are in my bowel or colon area still. I had every single marker left in me because I did not go to the bathroom at all. I guess they are all sitting right near my rectum area thus there is something there blocking me which in turn backs me up. I mean I go up to 2 weeks with no bowel movement. Let me put it this way, I did a bowel cleansing and the next morning I was 7 pounds lighter.. I am not kidding. I had like 3 months worth inside me. I get so backed up that I actually gain about 7 pounds and go up 3 pant sizes when I am backed up... SO, the next step is most likely surgery or something. I am concerned that I may have adhesions, or scar tissue or maybe even endo in that rectum area. Who knows... I will soon find out... Andrea
