Lupron Depot 3.75 mg

Hi. I've never posted anything here before, but I was wondering about Lupron Depot 3.75. I had a laparoscopy on 13 April for endometrosis, the doctor removed (burned off) quite a bit of endo, but I'm still having the same pain that I have always had. Last Tuesday, she said that she wants to put me on Lupron Depot for the next six months, then for the following three months I will take two active birth control pills every day (with no off week for a period) to find out if it is pain from endo that I'm still experiencing.

I've been reading a lot about lupron in the past few days, I like knowing what I'm putting in my body, and it seems like all of the information that I've found describes the side effects of the lupron to be much worse then the information that the doctor gave me. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me, from their experience with lupron, if the benefits for treating endo are greater then the possible side effects.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

Sincerely,

--
Brenna.
