AngelpostFrom: Robyn Parkin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Apr 23 15:35:54 2001
Morning angels (Well, if you're anything like me you're not an angel in the morning!). Good to hear from you all - some names I don't recognise on here now (but that's not surprising - I'm the new bug!). KIM: Hey sweetie, your story & mine are a bit similar. I was diagnosed last year, but had had endo (we think) for at least 10 years before that: unnecessary appendectomy, severe backpain for years, painful, grotty periods, and fatigue. Haven't hit the infertility thing yet, but my obgyn seems to think that I will. I can sympathise with your pain and confusion - and frustration with the medical profession. If you need to talk, feel very free to email me privately on rmn_nz@yahoo.co.nz . I promise I will get back to you asap! And that goes for anyone here - if you need someone to talk to, please email me! I've got near-constant access to internet at work, and I'm bored enough some days to surf rather a lot! ALL: how's Marcia and Lauren getting on? Has anyone heard any more? MICHELLE Z, fellow-Kiwi - how're you? I hope all of our flightless angels are taking life quietly right now. On the Robyn front.... we're surviving, and thinking second opinions. Not too sure about the diet thing, although I have dropped dairy (and caffeine - this one wasn't too hard as I don't drink coffee, altho' I do miss coke & V!). Trying to be good about animal fat too - which is bound to help me feel better in myself whether or not it helps the endo. Love you all, Robyn P
