New to Endo need some helpFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Apr 20 21:10:40 2001
I read your messages and my heart goes out to everyone and there pain, and the battles that you fight. I had my first lap about 4yrs ago and the dr said that he found some endo and lasered it off. All was fine and a got pregnant about a year later. On April 1st of this year I went to the ER for what I thought was going to be a simple miscarriage. Well my miscarriage turned out to be a tubal pregnancy (probably caused from present endo) and I was soon being wheeled in for surgery. After surgery my doctor told me he had lasered off some endo and that he removed my so called "cyst" that had formed around my scar from my c-section that i had 2 yrs previous. I knew going in to the surgery that some endo had returned, the pain had been present for the past several months. I got the pathology report back and my so called "cyst" turned out to be endo. I am going back to the doctor next week and was wondering what kind of questions do I need to ask him? I dont want this to be something they try to blow off like the first time it was detected. Is there a way for them to give you a type of measurment of how much you have? I also am having a hard time healing from the surgery it has been three weeks and my insides still hurts is this normal?? Thankyou in advance and my thoughts and prayers are with you. Thanks
