Re: A decision has been made-HeatherFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Apr 13 15:21:16 2001
Heather, My dr and I discussed why I can't take Lupron. It's b/c of the seizure risk with it whereas Zoladex doesn't. Also, the chances of having joint and bone pain using Zoladex is a lot less than the Lupron. When I asked for the percentages for each drug the chances of joint and bone pain with Lupron was 8% whereas with the Zoladex it's 1%. Also I let my dr know that I wanted addback therapy with it b/c I won't tolerate the hotflashes. I asked her about the estrogen surges knowing that the pain will go up for a bit and we are going to work on that. I will let you know how it goes and please feel free to e-mail me privately any time. ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Get email at your own domain with Yahoo!
