Hi Lisa,

If you are looking for support in New Zealand here is what I have on my website under New Zealand New Zealand Endometriosis Foundation Inc. PO Box 1683 Palmerston North 5301 New Zealand Tel/Fax:(6)359-2613 e-mail: anonymous@obgyn.net

http://www.nzendo.co.nz

I hope this helps all the New Zealanders out. Best Wishes,

Belle

P.S For anyone else looking for a support group in your country or area go to http://www.endometriosis.org/html/australasia.html and then on the left hand side it has an area to select, like the Internet, Australasia and Europe and North America and we have South Africa under Europe but I am planing on changing that. Just thought I would let you all know so you can check it out. Pain Free Wishes to ALL.

Hi Robyn, my name is Lisa and I have recently been diagnosed with endo. I also live in Wellington and was wondering whether you knew of any sort of contact groups in our area. I am extremely lucky in that my symptoms do not seem to be anywhere near as bad as some of the wonderful ladies who contribute to this forum but I am still rather nervous about the whole situation! My specialist is Peter Dukes and he has put me onto a long term treatment of Provera (possibly as long as 18-24 months without breaking it) and I have been trying to find someone else who may have been treated this way. I just started the tablets on Monday night (along with what will probably be my last period for some time which hopefully also means the decline of my symptoms and time off work) so am not aware of any noticeable side effects as yet. Even so, it would be great to be able to communicate with someone else who has been there... I hope today has been a good day for you and all the other "Angels"!
