I am not self consious at all about sex, as I talk to teens about aids and teen pregnancy once a month,so let me see if I can give you some tips. We have found that the best lubricant is one that you mix up yourself. we mix unscented vaseline (petroleum Jelly) and unscented hypoallergenic baby oil, and then we heat it up to about body temp.(DON'T USE WITH CONDOMS) It's the only thing that doesn't make my candida flare up.It is gentle and an excellent lubricant. We don't have sex very often at the moment, as I have more than one gynea problem, but it definitley helps to have a painmed about 30 mins before, and a nice glass of wine, the more relaxed you are, the less it hurts. You can even ask your doc to prescribe a relaxant for you to use, explain the situation to him. Also, try girl on top, that way you control the penetration or try lifting your bottom and hips off the bed with soft pillows, this seems to be a better angle for me. Also, you can try non-penatrative sex.We are experimenting with this-it's amazing just what can be accomplished without penetration. It just takes a bit of learning, but that can be fun to.It can be very satisfying for both of you, esp you as there is no pain, except maybe a little after orgasm. I do hope that this helps both of you, and I hope that I have not offended anybody by being so open-if I have, I am very sorry. Love and PFW to all LAUREN
