Celebrex is an anti-inflammatory drug. As for the side effects of it I really don't know except that I can't take it b/c of the fact that there is a potential for seizures if I took it. Another thing that I learned from my uncle is that you have to take it for a while before you can feel the full benefit of it, and that's taking it every day not taking it as needed for pain. He found out the hard way that it didn't work well if he took it as needed for the pain. Your best bet too is to check rxlist.com to see what all the side effects of it are.
