Re: Post Op Appt not a happy oneFrom: wanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Apr 4 17:52:14 2001
Denise, Hey Sweety, I am so sorry to hear this..... All of this Endo and her not being able to remove is probably why you are in pain as well as the ovaries trying to heal themselves. My experience with Lupron is that I took it the day of my 2nd lap for the Endo. I was on it for the one month period.....none the less I was out of pain. I had the hot flashes, mood swings, and headaches associted with the Lupron. Hope this helps...and if you need to talk...please feel free to e-mail me privately Endo Woman..:O) Hugs, Love, and Pain Free Wishes Wanda -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Behalf Of Denise Woods Sent: Wednesday, April 04, 2001 10:38 AM To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO Subject: Post Op Appt not a happy one Hi all, Just wanted to give everyone an update. I had my post op appt. this morning. My dr is aware that the pain has returned. She also informed me that the endo is everywhere. She was not able to remove it all. She was able to remove my o.cysts and cut the adhesions as well as doing a Luna. Now I am supposed to start Lupron right away to try and get rid of the endo. She does not think that the insurance will pay for a hyst. yet. I am finished having children and I don't want to have anymore pain. As I said to dr. I want long term solutions not short term. So it seems that I have to go through this for 6 months before I find out if it works. I am not feeling good or comfortable about this at all. What has everyones experience with lupron been? Pain free wishes to all! Sincerely, Endowoman! a.k.a. Denise
