I have been told the same thing. I too am 27 and just had a lap. We
were told that as soon as I feel like it we can start trying for
children. My OB/GYN said that for medical reasons now would be the best
time, but all other reasons, I needed to decide on my own. But, he said
that now is the best time, since everything should have been removed.
And the longer we wait the harder it may be to conceive. He asked me to
either try for kids now or go on some kind of drug or birth control pill
now, to decrease the pain if we aren't going to try. We chose to try
for kids, so he put me on prenatals instead. I am finally feeling
better now and my husband and I are anxious to try.
Good luck!
