Sounds like your having one heck of a time. I'm so sorry to hear that your hurting so badly. I was wondering, do you experience any abdominal pain as well as back and leg pain? I'm asking because I had a hysterectomy and oopherectomy done about 9 weeks ago for Endometriosis and Adenoymosis, and am still in major pain as well. It took me a very long time to make the decision to have one, and as I prayed and prayed in the hospital that this hysterectomy would do the trick, unfortunately it didn't. You did say that they are treating you for Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis, does that mean you are on steriods? And do those help at all? Although I cannot really give you the best advice because I haven't found a cure as well, I can tell you I understand your frustration with this pain. My main complaint to my doctors is severe back pain and miserable pain shooting down in my both legs. A couple of weeks ago I spent 9 days in the hospital for abdominal pain which ended up being an abscess and I told them while you got me here I want to be tested for everything, including all the auto-immune disorders. They said they would and come to find out they never did. I guess to doctors in the hospital it's O.K. to have back and leg pain everyday for the rest of your life, but it's not O.K. to have abdominal pain. I know as soon as my abdominal pain started easing that they didn't care anymore about the other stuff. As I lyed there reading my Merck Manual, I just prayed and prayed that I that would be the last time I would have to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, it didn't work. In the mean time, I got a new primary physician who is a total sweetheart, whose so fed up with everyone that he said you know what? We're just going to start all over again. He's getting me a new gynecologist, rheumatologist, neurologist and gastroenterologist. Although I am not a doctor and cannot give you medical advice I can advice you to try and hang in there. I know how frustrating it is to have so much pain and have no idea where it's coming from. Stay on top of it, and boy I sure hope you feel better soon. I really do. My thoughts and prayers will be with you, Sincerely, Wendi Farbstein
