Re: Difficult Decisions... How do you know what to choose? From: wanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Mar 31 05:20:20 2001
Michelle, It is kind of hard to determine what it going to work for you. It is hit and miss!! May want to find an Endo specialist that can give you the options and help you with the decision. Only you know your body. I finally gave up and went to see an Endo specialist. I had Excision done....<crossing my fingers>, I pray that it puts a stop to the pain. Just my two cents Hugs, Love, and Pain Free Wishes Wanda -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Behalf Of Michelle Sent: Friday, March 30, 2001 11:33 PM To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO Subject: Difficult Decisions... How do you know what to choose? I have been reading anything I can get my hands on to help me in the decision of which treatment is best???? Lupron makes me crazy, I'm afraid of taking Danocrine, I'm too young for a hysterectomy, and the birth control pills aren't stopping my pain. A presacral neurectomy has been recommended by one doctor. How can a "lay person" like me learn enough to make the right decisions?? I have read journal articles about PSN over and over just to make sure I understand the possible risks and outcomes. I'm torn about what to do because of the controversies and differences of opinions between doctors. How do you know who to trust... who to listen to for guidance? How do you make these decisions?? Please help!
