Re: MY WIFEFrom: Marcia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Mar 30 14:27:36 2001
Hi Dave: My sister has had two healthy children from having only one partial ovary (one ovary was taken out after a huge cyst ruptured it), so yes, it is possible to still have children after cysts are removed (even part of the ovary!). Hopefully, your wife's docs will remove all the endo they can see, and thus get rid of her pain. I know for myself, after 2 laps and now facing a third, each time they have gone in they have found endo-type cysts on my ovaries, as they do tend to recur. Try to get pregnant as fast as you can after her surgery, as they have probably told you, that is the VERY BEST time to become pregnant. I will be sending healing thoughts to her and you...it is so nice to see husbands here supporting us in our time of need. I hope all turns out well for you both,
-- Marcia
