A period question!From: Vicky (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Mar 28 17:19:24 2001
First of all, many thanks to Belle, Marcia, and Stacy for their excellent advice to find a specialist. I'll be talking to my doctor tonight about getting a referral. I wanted to ask whether anyone else has had this problem. For about four months before my lap, I found I couldn't use tampons when I got my period. It was difficult to insert them and it was really painful, so I just gave up and used pads instead. Now it's a month after my lap, and I'm waiting for Auntie Flo and her team of painters and decorators to drop by. Should I continue to avoid tampons for a while? Will I aggravate my endo by using them? BTW, it has never been painful when I have sex with my husband (so far). I've read about using unbleached tampons because of the dioxins, and have laid in a good stock of Natracare tampons or whatever they're called! Please let me know any good advice... thanks to all, vic Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! Mail.
