Christi, I don't have adenomyosis. But thank you for the information. It is always good to be knowledgable with these disease!!! I am sorry to hear that you are suffering with the Endo in other places. My thoughts and prayers are with you Hugs and Pain Free Wishes, Wanda -----Original Message----- From: endo@obgyn.net [mailto:endo@obgyn.net]On Behalf Of Chrisity@aol.com Sent: Monday, March 26, 2001 8:44 PM To: Multiple recipients of list ENDO Subject: Re: Ademyosis and Endometriosis Dear Wendy, I had adenomyosis. I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago. It relieved the pain it caused and for that I was grateful I had my uterus removed. I still struggle with endometriosis in other places such as my colon. Hopefully, you won't. Not everyone who has adenomyosis has endo in other places. The adenomyosis is when the endometrial tissue invades the walls of the uterus. Endometriosis is simply when the endometrial tissue is found in places other than the uterus. I'm really glad to hear you are doing well. If you need to ask me anything else, please feel free to e-mail me. Sincerely, Christi Chrisity@aol.com
