Hi Helene,

A positive ANA test can mean a few different things. It means you are having an autoimmune response to something but its a matter of finding what is causing it to happen. Endo, although being an auto immune disease, it does not cause an increased ana. It is also possible that you can a false positive and it is wise to have the test redone in 3 months. I really don't think that the miscarriages you have had, are related to your positive ana test but ask your doctor anyway, I could be wrong . Please let us know how you get on. Pain Free Wishes and all the best,

Belle

Hello,

I have had three miscarriages and have just had a positive test for antinuclear antibodies. Does anybody know if this is something that may be treated or not? I would very much appreciate any reply.

I also suffer from severe endometriosis.

Thanks,
