I have a friend who has been on the Depot Pro Vera shot for 8 years straight and she is going to be having her first lap to rule out endometriosis in a week or so. The doctor wants to put her on Lupron after the surgery. My first question is why and is it normal for someone to be on Depot for 8 years? And second would you put them on Lupron after a surgery since she has been on Depo for so long?> She has a history of cysts and other symptoms but never diagnosed with endo yet.
