Re: Lupron Info

Hi Cathy:

I was on Lupron for 4 months and it did relieve me of pain during the time, but my endo did not dissappear. Not to mention the side effects were no walk in the park! It's only been one year since my last surgery and I am going for a second. I realize how easy it is to trust your doctor, but I have learned that you must do your homework before doing anything. I am sure you, as I was, feel desperate to do and try anything to be rid of the pain, but research it so that you can make a decision that you are comfortable with.

Another good thing is to find out what percentage of endo patinets your doctor treats. He/She may not be experienced enough. You can ask the forum or the Endo Association (414)355-2200 for referals.

I gather you should find out what's causing your pain.

Pain Free Wishes, Mindy :-)
