For 5 years now I have thought that the pain that I was in was something I was going to have to live with for the rest of my life and my ob\gyn would not take me seriously he just gave me that patronizing look and said "Here, take these pills" I have had pain during intercourse, debilitating pain every 7 to 8 days not only when menstruating but also when ovulating. He wanted to put me on Depro-provera. After researching that drug I am afraid to go on it. I am already as moody as I think my family can take and the aggression I have heard it causes scares me to death. The info I have received from all of you has made me realize I'm not crazy or a hypochondriac and I really should see a specialist before having the hystorectomy my doctor suggested right off of the bat. Any info you have on laparoscopy recovery time and success rate would be appreciated.
