I have been on narcotic pain relievers and anti-inflammatories for 5 years for chronic pelvic pain. I made an appointment with my OB to remind him of how long this has been going on and whether it could be endo. I have most of the symptoms I see listed on the sites I've found. When I mentioned laparoscopy, he automatically said he didn't do hysterectomies that way and that he would have his Office Manager contact my insurance company to see what they required (ie..second opinion, pre-testing) before approving the procedure so we could get on with it. Shouldn't there be some other type of diagnostic test done before the big H? Help, I need info from people who have been through this! Thanks, Angie
