Hi, Marcia - it's all good advice! Thank you. Well, I'm still feeling a little bit of pain (maybe a 2 or a 3) on the right side, but not all the time. I'm not sure if this is scarring from the surgery or a ghost pain from the bad old days or anything else I'd need to worry about.

I'm definitely going to ask about alternatives to Vicodin when I see my gynecologist tomorrow, and I'm feeling so much better (and more optimistic in general) since I finally know what's wrong with me and what I can start to do about it. It's good to talk!
