Pacific NW Endo Specialist (Debbie & Emily)For more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: suzanne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Mar 6 09:41:43 2001
Hi Debbie, I live in Stanwood, WA and have had surgery with Dr. Redwine in Bend, Oregon. It only takes about 50 minutes by plane to get there or about 6 hours from Tacoma. I searched high and low to find an endo doctor here in WA, to no avail. I started networking with other women in WA and NW and Dr. Redwine's name kept coming up - the women who were better had surgery with him. The ones still suffering were having multiple surgeries, taking terrible drugs or just baring the pain, going from doctor to doctor. It was a no-brainer for me - I wanted my life back so bad. So I called Dr. Redwine's office and had surgery with him. I am finally endo free after 26 years of suffering. I am so glad that your daughter has gotten an early dx. Early diagnosis followed by PROPER TREATMENT is the best approach to this disease. I know Yen already posted redwine's website so I hope you have been there. Please note his new article on teens and endometriosis. Much is being done in this area now. I have an 8 year old daughter who may inherit my endo and I would not mess around with any other doctors here - I will promptly take her to Dr. Redwine. Debbie you can e-mail anytime at living@nwlink.com (plus I'd love to hear your earthquake story - you were very close to the epi-center).
