Re: Advice please???From: anonymous@obgyn.netTue Mar 6 01:13:33 2001
Dear Debbie, Below, I've posted a website which will provide you with loads of information. Many of the listed endo specialists provide info at their sites as well. http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Spa/8509/endokit.html You and your daughter are fortunate in that Dr Redwine is not far from you -- he is one of the top endo specialists. Below is his website. Another dr is located in Seattle, you can find her at the following web address. http://womenssurgerygroup.com/physicians/BarbaraLevy.asp In the meantime, if she is interested (and on Spring Break lol) have her read some of our posts re diet and endo pain -- look under the alt.medicine or "i have less pain" subject headings. The gist of theses posts refer to the elimination of dairy, eggs, high-fat items, etc. to aid in the alleviation of endo pain. Best thing for your daughter is to get the best endo specialist possible. If she is having severe pain, perhaps she'll be interested in the elimination diet -- start with the elimination of all regular dairy (all includes cheese, ice cream, etc.) and eggs -- hopefully she'll get some relief. http://forums.obgyn.net/endo/ENDO.0102/0102.html http://forums.obgyn.net/endo/ENDO.0103/0186.html http://forums.obgyn.net/endo/ENDO.0102/0924.html Hope this helps. Wishing the both of you good luck, Yen
