I was Lupron for 6 months, and the whole time I was pain free, i didn't have a period for about a year. I didn't experience any major mood swings like some women have, but I did have extremly bad hot flashes.  I timed them once to 4-5 and hour and they lasted anywhere from 1 to 5 min.  I stopped wearing make-up because i would just sweat it all off. It works for some and some it doesn't do any good. SOme have mild side effects some have severe.  I think everybody reacts differently.

I hope this helps
