Very frustrated with doctorFrom: Colleen (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Feb 27 14:58:21 2001
--Boundary_(ID_VcgjMJHRuiAHviXM/LFa9A) Content-type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable I went to the doctor's today for my three month Lupron shot and had a horrible experience. I have had pain even though I've been on the Lupron for three months and it has been extra bad these past couple of weeks. My doctor today told me that I couldn't possibly be in pain because of the endo, that much of it was removed in my surgery last June and that the rest of it would have been killed off by the Lupron. She said she was 100 percent positive my pain wasn't because of the endo. She went on to say that it was probably something else like back pain and that I should try seeing an accupuncturist or a chiropractor to figure this out. This is very disturbing to me. Mainly because I was under the impression that Lurpon doesn't always work in getting rid of the endo and either does surgery. I thought there were no guarentees with this disease. Why else would I be in pain? I am fine except for all this pain. It sounds like she is just giving up on me. She can't guarentee me anything without looking inside during a lap and actually seeing if there is anything left, right? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Am I right in thinking that I need a new doctor?
