I have been diagnosed with endo 4 months ago. I had a laparoscopy and my doctor has stated at that time that it was "mild". He put me on Allese (estrogen/progestin combination). After 3 months pain has come back. When I saw my doctor this time he said that the only hope he sees for my endo is putting me on 3-month Lupron therapy. Now he said that I had "considerable endo" (no additional exam/test was done). Since I know that Lupron has so many (sometimes long-term) side effects, I am very sceptical about taking this medication. Especially that I heard is usually more advisable for sever endometriosis cases. I want to get as many information as I can, before I make up my mind. I am interested in hearing about personal stories of women taking this drug (are there any "success" stories?). Do you have any side effects after you discontinued taking it?
