Re: Bladder Problems after Lap. UTI's --> Antibiotics--> Yeast InfectionsFrom: B. (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Feb 25 04:15:11 2001
Hi ladies, Its quite common to get scratched during being catheterized, which is done just prior to surgery and this can cause a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). Yen is right, a course of the correct antibiotics, should remedy the situation but its also important to know that endo sufferers are very prone to yeat infections and antibiotics nearly always cause yeast infections. This can be easily fixed by taking Lactobacillus acidophilus, this should be bought fresh and transported in a freeze dry bag, so it is kept cold and fresh. I just thought that this was important information to add and to help us all prevent yeast infections. I take it as often as I remember and it also helps with constipation in some people as well. The brand I use is Inner Health and it should be available in America very soon.Look in health food stores or pharmacies. Best Wishes, Belle. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
