PCOS, Endo, TAH/BSO, LUNA, and now Ovarian Remnant Syndrome...From: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Feb 23 13:34:23 2001
Hi guys...I really hoped that I wouldn't be back here again...(no offense intended) but after enduring 10 surgeries, the LUNA procedure, zoladex, synaryl, danocrine, Lupron, depo-lupron, and finally out of desperation a TAH/BSO -- they now tell me that I have ovarian remnant syndrome. I'm still in pain...only with a whole host of NEW tah/bso problems -- I knew this might happen, but I had to take the chance. Here's the dilemma - I need someone who can tell me the name of a qualified doctor in the US preferably in the south-east or eastern us who is qualified to fix this problem. I have a history of adhesions and really nasty endo...now this. The more I read, the more I see that only a few doctors can find, and treat this....but no one is saying who. Any ideas? I really want this surgery to be the last. My wallet is empty, my heart is broken, and my soul is in tatters over this. I just want a normal life without pain, diarreha, vomiting, and fainting as a mainstay of my existence. (sorry venting). Anyway...any help is appreciated.
