Karen,
Did they do a CT scan? I have been told that sometimes they can see
adhesions during the scan...if this is the case, maybe they would know
more what they are getting into and what type of treatment is needed
before the surgery. I'm sure you would still need the surgery, you
would just know more going in. My mom had adhesions from an
appendectomy and they were able to see it during the scan and knew
exactly where to go to correct the problem. Hope this helps! Please let
us know what the outcome is.
