COLONOSCOPYFor more information on symptoms and treatment of endometriosis visit www.EndometriosisZONE.org. From: MINDY (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Feb 18 09:18:22 2001
I have severe rectal stabbing pain and pressure during my period as well as other times of the month. In addition, during my period I experience rectal bleeding. My GYN (who see's mostly Endo patients) recommended I have a colonoscopy. On Friday I had it and it showed only a small hemorroid and one polyp (which they removed). I am happy that they didn't find endo, but I am so frustrated because I can't imagine a small hemorroid could be the cause of my pain. Has anyone gone through this only to find that there really was something there?
