Hi All I am a first time user/reader of this forum. Ever since I can remember, I've had cramps with my periods. They have always been controllable with the aid of Tylenol or Advil. They haven't gotten worse, but other strange things have begun happening to me. About 3 months ago I took a form of birth controll called LOESTRIN for about 7 or eight days. I stopped taking it because I already take medication every day and didn't want to deal with another pill. Since stopping that pill my periods have been completely out of wack. They happen about every two weeks and last 10-12 days(not heavy)Also, before it starts I have several days of pretty heavy brown discharge.(no pain) I've had this stuff every once in a while since beginning mensus but NEVER like this. My urinary tract is irritated and my skin has REALLY broken out. I don't know if this is hormonal or the start of endo. . .i'm scared. my mom and aunt both have had hystorectomies(sp?) I went to my gyno a week ago. she did a pelvic exam and, I guess, didn't feel any cysts or swollen uterus because she didn't say so. she said my system could still be "normalizing" from the week on the pill. she said to call if these strange symtoms persist after my next period. i'm sorry this is soooo long, but i just wanted some feedback. i think what you guys are doing for eachother is wonderful. thanks for listening.
