Hello, Dee, I started taking Lupron in August of 2000, the first three months went well. Since I did so well, my doc suggested to take a three month dose. Well, thats when I fell apart. I have gained 10-15 pounds, my joints hurt, and my endo pain is back. I had a lap done on 1/4/01 and my left ovary is adhered to my pelvic wall, once again. The lupron shot is doing its job, though. My right ovary has shrunk. I have not had a cycle since August. (I took the lupron, because I was not sure if we wanted more children ornot) Now we have decided not to have anymore. Every one reacts differently to the shot. I would suggest taking it one month at a time and see how you do. You may e-mail, if you want to talk more. Good luck in your decision.
