Re: A ? for everyoneFrom: Kristy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Feb 15 15:18:14 2001
Marcia, That thing of HPV is a misconception in most of the cases of women who have it. Women with vulvodynia can also get it from surgical procedures (as I did), and thru injuries in their back. Thanks for trying to help though. Also I wanted to go ahead and take the time to welcome you to the list. We are glad to have you here. I'm going to post something later that I wrote on another list that explained vulvodynia to someone else. Also I've been asked before by someone else if I have HPV and I do not as I am not sexually active (never have been). Also, vulvodynia can have the same symptoms as HPV but that doesn't necessarily mean that the woman has it but has vulvodynia. As I said I will give you the link to the message that I wrote for another list. I hope that this is of some help. Take care, ===== Kristy :) http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Falls/4659/kristyspage.html Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo! Mail - only $35
