Try varying methods but I usually end up taking 6 Alleve 220 mg at once of course this is not as directed and I would take a lot less maybe 3 at first particularly if you are stronger and the gel caps work quicker. Your doctor should know that Darvcocet will not help cramps, it may help pain but the pain from cramps is from prostaglandin and Alleve is a inhibtor of prostaglandin which is the cause of your pain.
