Hi Mel,

Have you thought of showing her the Documentary Endometriosis The Inside Story..It has helped many sufferers Husbands, families,friends,doctors and loved ones..I would give it a try..It can only educate her more not less. Good Luck and I hope she comes around soon..I know how hard it is to try to make others understand..I was also there many years ago but not even the doctors understood and there was maybe 5 top surgeons accross America and 2 in Australia...well 10 yrs later we have many more doctors taking up endo as a speciality BUT Not Enough..The point is we have come along way but we still have along way to go and your Mother needs to wake up and smell the coffee and listen to what the Experts are saying ( For Mel's Mother.... Endo is Not and STD) Not just her daughter who is obviously suffering and is trying to help educate her dear mother...Mel,I hope you can print off a few of our messages and put them on her pillow for her to read. Hi angels. I am just so mad...and tired. My mom cannot seem to understand that endo is not an STD! I have told her, pointed her to websites, everything. She still thinks I have something to do with. I was adopted so she does not have trouble with it but she knows for a fact that my birth mother did. I think she thinks it is something you contract because you have done things wrong.... I am just so frustrated. I'm in pain and she doesnt seem to understand that I am not making it up. I have never done that in my life... I am pretty tough about pain...as we all are in this forum. Im sorry not to have any uplifting words or any good news. I just pray no one else is in this same situation. Hugs to all Mel
